Oh no not the Solar Panels causing this, maybe the greenies could come up with a solar panel that just dissolves at the end of it's life, simple answer to this energy shortage is Bill gates idea reactor this is fuelled by nuclear waste. Nothing harmful is produced and plenty of electricity uninterruptable for 20 years when the new fuel log is changed, makes good sense.
Never had Faith in Solar Panels and am well aware of the toxic issues you raise in that article.
