Concerns

I have sent the following email to AP this morning. Hope I am not being too presumptuous in speaking for others but I think we need to be able to speak to him directly...Let's see what happens...

Dear Andrew,

I am a long time retail shareholder of Great Boulder Resources and although I "only" hold 2,000,000 shares that amounts to a very significant holding within my portfolio. I have built up this holding over time because I believe in the potential of the company and I wish to share in its successes.

I assume you are by now aware that there is a growing level of disquiet in relation to the resolutions which we, your shareholders, have been asked to vote on at the upcoming AGM. Specifically, there is consternation at the lowering of the share price at which performance rights will be available to certain members of the board of directors.

Generally, I think it is sensible to ignore much that one reads on shareholder web forums such as Hotcopper. However, in relation to GBR, I believe that the majority of the community of retail shareholders on the site, who are expressing their concerns, are doing so for genuine reasons.

Whilst I appreciate that the whole point of the AGM is to gain our opinion on resolutions put forward by our board, I wonder if, in light of recent suggestions (including board spills), it might be appropriate to arrange an immediate shareholder webinar/Q&A to allay our fears and quell the unrest that those resolutions have invoked?

Although I can only speak for myself, I think we would all value the opportunity to hear your thoughts and put forward our questions in a public forum. As we are not insiders we can only base our opinions on publicly available information and therefore may not have the full picture. Therefore, I think it would be a useful exercise and give you the opportunity to put our minds at rest.
