MP exported 15kt concentrate 2018, ~8kt TREO, by both US export data & Chinese import reports, suspect 36/48kt a social media number.
10% of MP is effectively a Chinese asset, even the Donald will tread warily around that one, classic example Dragon's claws, and it happened on his watch.
While MW relatively low Th/U MP is lower again, so certainly not an issue for intn'l transport and certainly not the Chinese.
However California is to MP as Malaysia is to Lynas, noisy watermelons.
