As a holder in BLR I agree with OMS - there has to be compliance with the licence conditions. It is not helpful to the future of this project and to shareholder value for there even to be a suggestion that there is non compliance. I am astounded at the possibility that the whole project could be delayed by doing silly things like taking water from a non approved source. Nothing has been proved yet and hopefully won't be, but it is clear that BLR is being closely watched. All shareholders should deplore any risk to their holdings through someone deciding to take shortcuts, particularly at this crucial juncture, after so much water under the bridge (no pun intended), both for the company and the industry generally. The NIMBY (not in my backyard) mob are a modern phenomenon that are part of life today. It is a miracle there is any progress anywhere really, there is always someone all too ready to jump up and protest, no matter where. Just have to try to minimise their opportunities to complain and even, if possible, to keep them happy.
