Gold is moving now. Would suggest that Xstrata need to wrap this up before they complete the pre feasibility study over the coming months. I would think that the timing of the bid is no co-incidence, and project economics will look decidedly robust.

The consistent buying in the market above all offers is calling Xstratas bluff, even if Indophil has to fund their component they would have no trouble raising funds with a monster resource like this.

Every day they don't mine, the In Ground Value of their holding increases, especially with a $30+ jump in the gold price. Do the figures on this and I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Xstrata blew the game when they announced that Tampakan was their #1 development opportunity 6 months ago, no matter how they try and sow seeds of doubt now the market will work against them.
