    re: copper hits new high Yes with all the gloom & doom talk about for the last month saying that the copper price will tank before the end of the year, the price is still very firm and looks like remaining that way until mid-2006 at least.
    Meanwhile AVM is earning fantastic margins of over $1.25/lb.
    I'm expecting AVM to announce a net profit of $US5.5-6mil for the Sept quarter on Monday night.
    I'm hoping the conference call will give a good indication of production & likely profits for the Dec quarter which I'm currently estimating at $15mil.
