DM would have paid whatever they wanted for the business, it was a diversionary tactic to keep him at the trough for, well at least another year so far and to take attention away from his failure to deliver on the previous business model. In essence LifX is no more then a DM lifestyle sustaining mechanism.

My take as it stands, this el cheapo light might just well keep the lights on, any issues with it or customer dissatisfaction it is lights out.
