The same applies to the home, where it's not hard to see a home in the near future that has an integrated control and monitoring system that handles/monitors/records/actions everything from lights, appliances, security cameras, door locks, heating and cooling, solar power generation, battery storage and balancing (home and car), power both to and from the grid etc. etc. etc. The mind boggles.

So yes, there will be plenty of competition and plenty of room for constant innovation. An M&A meat market and a graveyard! It will be a wild ride, so buckle up and if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen!

An M&A meatmarket....must confess, one of my first thoughts when the LIFX deal came out was that it would put Buddy on a lot of radars.

Though I hope not.

Would be great to see them be one of the small caps that make it from aspirant to success.
