The shorters will have started to feel the squeeze on the open today. In all honesty, the ASX meltdown this morning was probably a blessing in disguise, because it gave investors time to absorb the EU deal and then scramble to close out their positions.
Those who hadn't covered today, will certainly start to do so tomorrow... shorting runs the risk of theoretically unlimited losses. May as well cop the loss now rather than hoping to beat down the bulls.
