If I may speculate! I see Liongold as well as buying CGT has now stumped up $10mil to CTO at a 60% premium to the share price. Now if any of you have followed CTO over recent years you would find that one of the most astounding and ill advised transactions you have ever seen!
If Nick isn't already talking with them I would be 'on the phone' to Liongold in a nano second. MCO would appear to be a far superior investment to CTO esp with all the regional prospects yet to reveal their riches.
Liongold have stated that they are looking to invest in Aussie goldies so wouldn't be surprised to see them on the MCO register in the near future. If they are willing to punt on CGT and CTO you would think MCO would be worth a close look.
