    With the DOW now over 10,000 the deal appears to be a relic from the dark and frightening days of the GFC.

    Under the cover of widespread financial terror Brookfield and their BBI dupes might have pulled off this stunt, but cooler minds are now appraising their plan - and are unlikely to be impressed.
