frader, I am aware that a group of shareholders making 5% can call a meeting. However, after I read rebel1's post yesterday that Monarch was owned by JP, it conflicted with jabbaheat's post that he could call a shareholder's meeting given his / her's holdings, which at that time meant jabbaheat owned Monarch. That was the point i was making.
Myself and others I know already make up over 2%
On another note, I don't think we need a shareholders' meeting. I think just more updates would be helpful, informing shareholders of progress, strategy, showing us steps are being taken and steps are planned to help us have concrete evidence that management are doing all they can for us to have a reasonable return on our investment.
Although shareholders can contact management, I feel this would not be necessary if management gave sufficient information to the market
