Primaj, fair enough if its the case they're just being cautious and cranking the plant up steadily. That's a reasonable approach.

My problem is that's not the impression I got from the October quarterly just a few weeks ago when Eric should have been able to more clearly map out the path to full production, why not say then we're going to crank it up slowly and cautiously and it will probably run into 2014. Then to just get the advice today without adequate explanation raises questions imo that it's partly a demand issue as opposed to technical caution and that customers are happy for Lynas to take it's time and maybe only take minimum orders for the moment under contracts.

How can investors be sure though? I spent half a day going to the AGM expecting final confirmation that production is all but there and came away questioning customer demand. Is that my fault?

Other than clarity in communications, I actually think the Lynas team are doing a good job in building the business and all the elements of Lynas long-term strategy seem to be coming together now and I agree the future looks really positive for Lynas. But from an investment viewpoint, when does that future start. Rather than buy pre-Xmas in anticipation of full operations, I'll now wait until February and further confirmation.
