after reviewing SPT’s quarter on quarter growth rate for underlying merchant sales you could expect underlying merchant transaction to maintain an estimated 50% growth rate quarter on quarter. The reason I say this is because it has been maintained this growth for at least 6 quarters running. image below. That’s a good trend to make a future predictive assumption from.

This would bring fy19 figures to roughly

q1 fy19 - 141 million
q2 fy19 - 211 million
q3 fy19 - 317 million
q4 fy19 - 475 million

so potentially 475 million cumulative underlying merchant transaction/sales for fy19 if they maintain the trend they have experienced since q3 fy17. But who’s to say this growth rate won’t blow up in fy19?

Now if we assess some reports from afterpay we can see the underlying sales for H1 fy17 and fy17 is 561 and 144.8 million. This will be in line with the cumulative estimate I provided above for SPT in fy19. But what if growth blows up like I mentioned above? What if adoption increases?

check the APT market capitalisation at the end of fy17 and work out the potential market cap for SPT at that stage and then you can get an idea on why speculators are buying up hard at today’s price.

SPT has its work cut out for it. Even buying APT after the below results came out in July 2017 you could've gotten in at $3 on APT and made 8 bags.
