...wouldn't think one is extrapolated from the other. Production testing will look to determine flow rate at various choke sizes and to test related well pressures. This will help to calculate an expected flow rate during field production, and thus help establish the development scenario - "do we need three wells or seven for field development?" To that end, I would expect a production test of somewhere around the 30mmcf/d scenario, should we get to that stage.
The bottom hole temperature may also be in the extreme, requiring the flow of hydrocarbons during test to be limited. It will just be too hot to cater for all the gas coming up to the surface.
The challenge going forward, as it appears to me, is to get through the drilling without incident and this may take more than the 5 days allocated.
