I had a 180k mortgage in 2000 and no other debt.
Scary for me and I paid as much as quickly as I could of the principle.
Nowadays people borrow 500-700k, credit card to the max, car loan and the harvey norman interest free buys without any worry.
This just has to end badly.
Or I am just a different generation with different fears and values.
Time will tell.
