Bit hard to see it being a total furphy, but of course anything is possible. Would have thought if it was a totally made up article then you are accepting that the journalist for the Economic Times in India RAJEEV JAYASWAL is a liar. We are suggesting that the story has been totally concocted for some devious means. Why? and why in India? The journalist states in the article that he was told the following directly,

?We are looking at acquiring a minority stake in E&P company Advent Energy,? a director at one of the consortium members told ET, requesting anonymity as he was not authorised to speak to the media about the talks.

A senior official at another company in the consortium said the deal could be worth more than $1 billion.

We will have to wait and see, but I think there is some substance to this report and I think there are some people who are looking at entering who want others to think that this is all BS.
