Once its been stolen, Eden doesn't own it in every jurisdiction. The Chinese military industrial complex gives priority to stealing economic IP and using it for advantage, not just military secrets. The leadership uses every tool it has to ensure the success of Chinese communism, the "rise of China" and to ensure the continuation of the CCP and Xi JinPing. Under Xi, everything else is dispensable.
