Pretty simple really - she talks about the last 21 years - not the last two or three which have been embarrassing for the country to witness this dysfunctional mob and a series of poor judgements by our PM who proudly confuses feisty and tough with vitriol and stubborn.

If you are so enamored with the article you'd be arguing with the decision to vote the Liberals out - after all it was only because they left the country in such good shape that we survived the GFC - not just the good (and bad) things this government did, most of which were also tried by other countries who did not have the Liberal inheritance.

We understand what a bad government is despite the good fortune of our economy. We've all been told by the insiders how bad Rudd was, we all see how bad PM Gillard is - are we supposed to just let that ride because China continues to prop us up whilst the country is controlled by a bunch of incompetents?

By the way - The Guardian - is that more balanced than the Murdoch press?
