There seems to a number of potential taxes one must consider-Australia has RRT and corporate taxes and GST and the like.
Perhaps you could amplify the interaction between the Texas Crude Oil Production Tax at 4.6% or for Enhanced Production at 2.3% of production market value and the Sales Tax you have quoted.
