I am cynical about broker tours full stop. Can some one give me a few examples of broker tours for small spec stocks that have led to significant....or any lasting changes in price? The only thing that will help the price of MNE, or any spec, is fantastic drilling results.....not brokers having a free trip, I assume, to South America...paid for by us shareholders when they have to raise money sooner to pay for the promotion.
I have noticed a no of companies that do every trade show and promotion going...wont mention any names.....but the only thing that matters is showing that they really really have something.....not might have something. Needless to say their price keeps dropping after every promotion.
Promotion and marketing is a good thing in many areas of commerce.....but in small spec mining companies it is a case of "show me the money " or pumps...and they always end in tears for ones not in the loop.
So why are they doing a broker tour.....when great drilling results are the only thing that matters??
Although I would be happy to go on the tour and promote the company on Hotcopper for them!!! Would probably be more effective....
