Sorry to hear about your non-settlement issue several years ago.

I hope you sued those spivs for damages properly. You would still be entitled to claim the cost differential against them of buying the exact same number of rights issue shares at the market price on the day of *issue* of the rights shares. I hope you now know how to teach these spivs a lesson. No one, and I mean no one can hide behind a broker when you initiate a court action.

That's why I agree with the naked short selling ban, but not a loan covered short selling ban.
