I note that the company only told you the record date in that email, didnt mention the ex-date at all. Companies and registries are often vague and sometimes even wrong about this, because the ex-date is a market and broker issue and not an issue for the company or registry to worry about at all.

The "Minara renouceable right issue announcement" posted on the 29th and the "Rights issue - letter to shareholders" announcement posted on the 31st both assert that the shares will trade on an ex-rights basis on Monday 3rd.
