Logic has failed him.
He even had enough doubt to doubt his own doubt!
And still he came to ask for help...

He obviously needs something concrete...some authority to tell him its all wrong, to prevent this from happening again.

Call the police in Santa monica and make a difference by alerting them to a potential scam.

It's the only way to feel right and good about this whole thing and to re-empower himself.
