Sydney - Monday - June 30: (RWE Australian Business News) - Rex
Minerals Ltd (ASX:RXM) says it has received significant copper results
from further drilling at the Hillside Project on the Yorke Peninsula,
South Australia.
The assay results were returned from drillhole HDD006.
Copper mineralisation in HDD006 exists within a 2km-long
magnetic anomaly and is the first drillhole to effectively test this
anomaly, with the mineralisation open in all directions:
* 33m at 0.38pc copper, <0.1g/t gold and 10pc iron;
* 30m at 0.90pc copper, 0.22g/t gold and 15pc iron
including 6m at 1.35pc copper and 0.37g/t gold
6m at 1.42pc copper and 0.35g/t gold
2m at 2.40pc copper and 0.66g/t gold;
* 23m at 0.83pc copper, <0.1g/t gold and 20pc iron
including 7m at 1.80pc copper and 0.14g/t gold;
* 8m at 0.35pc copper, <0.1g/t gold and 15pc iron; and
* 6m at 0.56pc copper, <0.1g/t gold and 21pc iron.

Managing director Mr Steven Olsen said, "Our belief that
previous drilling was on the fringes of more significant copper
mineralisation has been proven.
"We are still working our way towards the best part of this
large mineralised system and we expect that exciting times lay ahead for
Rex shareholders as we move towards defining a copper resource at
Hillside."
"There was less than 10m of cover sediments in this drillhole,
which gives us confidence that the mineralisation will extend to within
10m of the surface," Mr Olsen added.
