Paradigm confirms uranium presence at Cloncurry

Sydney - Thursday - March 8: (RWE Aust Business News) - Paradigm
Gold (ASX:PDM) has commenced exploration at its Cloncurry uranium project
in northwest Queensland.
Initial reconnaissance exploration has confirmed elevated
radioactivity over Toolebuc limestone outcrops in the order of 5-15 times
background levels.
These levels of radioactivity confirm that the widespread
anomalous uranium observed in the regional radiometric data is
significant.
Paradigm has collected reconnaissance rock chip samples from one
of its granted permits, EPM 15906.
Several of the recent samples were found to contain trace to
minor amounts of a bright yellow secondary uranium mineral, believed to
be carnotite, from within microfractures in the limestone.
Assays are awaited for these initial samples.
