    This is where we hit the dead-end I mentioned. With respect, our ancient origins and lineage are far from clear based on all the studies done so far on the available DNA and fossils. I like good science because it continues to “dig up” new evidence and develop and modify its models and conclusions accordingly, however on the question of the origins of life it is inherently biased and handicapped by its fixed parameters of, and immutable assumptions of, uniformitarianism and (philosophical) materialism.
