Yes, fair enough to pay script(which does preserve money) but on the flip side it just means it gives the directors more time to come good(if it all) and not everyone wants to wait many many years for their investments to show a positive return.

Most people invest in speculative small capped stocks for a short to medium term profit not wanting to wait multiple years potentially to make a buck. The only people once again whom benefit are the employees of the said company.
