Conflict of interest much?

This dealroom stuff is all over the interface. I've read it - used view now. I've clicked X. Ive also dismissed it - I'm bloody aware of it - because I can't get it out of my face.

I had doubts before but now I have bigger doubts because a stock I hold CYP I can't post into the forum on - some sort of post processing checking and censoring is being applied.

I want to post into that forum because the announcement although the heading doesn't say includes an extension of a trading halt for a cash raise handling. The cash raise was not mentioned in the announcement going into the trading halt. Its being announced only now in an announcement that is supposed to be about a trial DFU -Diabetioc foot ulcer reporting results.

I think there is now a conflict of interest for hotcopper. On the one hand it is going into the selling to companies of its members so as to help them raise cash - which I think is matching up so called sophs - which in my experience are often stupiid rich people frankly but I digress with a source of funds - on the other hand hotcopper is supposed to be an internet discussion site which is suppose to help with market discovery which incliudes opinion and commentary that is not favorable.

I can't currently post commentary that would be critical of a company I hold stocks in - and hotcopper isn't telling me why - its just stopping me.


This is a conflict of interest in my opinion. Keep the critical of poor cash raising companies practices and history silenced and then be able to sell to them better.

This bias needs to be addressed in my opinion. Its unhealthy for the market and a retro move - there should be separation between discussion site which has a function of promoting truth including unfavorable truth about companies that are trying to raise money sometimes and selling to those companies.
