A couple of things to note:
- these banks have MSLAs in place to manage ongoing liquidity of their portfolio. Dont think that you're special just because they disclose the agreement under this announcement.
- the second extract you have provided shows three parties to that MSLA. How do you know that MS Co isn't transferring to MS SS?
- BOTH extracts you have provided clearly show that the JP Morgan entity that is party to the MSLAs is the an offshore JP Morgan entity (probably US, Sing or HK). This is very different to the Australian JP Morgan entity (being J.P. Morgan Australia Limited - refer to announcement from 30 April).
I think you are all jumping at shadows. If you want to blame anyone for the short selling, blame the soft lithium price. When that turns, it will ease up.
