I finally learnt what Chinese people call Confucius! ( something which had bugged me for years as it seems to have a lot of nice stuff & be an interesting/important thing in their culture which gives one a good opening to make a friend by starting off with admiration for something of theirs. Phew! That was a long explanation! ).

Kon Fu Tsu. Kon like con. Fu like foo from food. Tsu like.... Kostys Tsyu? ( however his name is spelt ),

Why do I admire it? One of its founding principles is that we should respect our elders/ancestors, in particular our own elders/ancestors in our own family.

That’s cool! Even as cool as Margaret’s post today. ( well, to me anyway ).

Cheers for every time I don’t say it but only give your things a like Margaret- they really do bring a smile & some times a smile that is really needed.

Hopefully I speak for some others in saying that.
