So this episode is actually quite relevant to understanding the target market for GlucoControl.
A couple of important points are:
1. The Asian guests discussed how it was hard being on the 8 week reduced calorie diet as they were not allowed to eat starchy foods such as rice. GlucoControl is of benefit in this type of situation............and good thing they plan to expand sales into China later in the year!
2. Recent scientific evidence suggests early stage 2 diabetics can potentially rid themselves of the disease by eating a low kilo joule diet. A low kilo joule diet and/or a product which reduces the ability of glucose to be absorbed from the GI tract into the blood stream in the first place can address the problem of beta cell damage and reverse diabetes. Again, this is where the use of GlucoControl is beneficial.
GlucoControl is on the cutting edge of type 2 diabetes prevention and cure. Not a bad business to hold shares in considering that annually an estimated 1.5 million deaths occur globally due to diabetes and that around 280 Australians develop diabetes every day – one person, every 5 minutes.
