The value of shale oil and gas field land is proportional to the demand for drilling it .
In the U.S. , the shale fields are where people live so there is lots of demand to drill it .
Obviously this is not the case with Arkaringa .
I'm confident that they will find salt water aquifers or pipe water there and it won't be a problem . The more difficult challenge is persuading people they want to travel to the middle of nowhere to work .
Today's announcement is good news . We should enjoy it while we can !
