I arrived 9 years ago, when I bought a home in Sydney, I lived by myself.
I had 2 tenants and they are about 20 yrs old. Each of them bought a 1 bed unit (about half million worth in Sydney) by cash (of course supported by their parents).
My girlfriend is asking me now to buy another one in Sydney and we can afford it without problems. And, all of us are from normal families and I'm just working like most others in the forum. If you can't afford your own home, try not to spend all your money on holidays, luxury cars and 3 parties in a week :-)
