Blackstone - My limited personal opinion on this (from a corps act perspective - and I may be horribly wrong) is that they potentially had to sell these shares.
In my limited opinion - You cannot own more that 19.99% of a company unless you acquired the increased interest via a bid, rights issue, specific shareholder approval or creep provisions..
Otherwise one could potentially find themselves open to possible breaches of takeover provisions.
