It is highly redundant, as there are 11,881,376 combinations of just 5 letter words, add the 308 million 6 letter words etc, you will find that only a very small percentage of the possible combinations have defined meanings. I think very few individuals would have a vocabulary exceeding 60,000 words. And on top of that there is a sentence structure where we expect certain parts of speech (noun, verb, adj etc) in certain orders, and common phrases on top of that. Which makes if very easy for the mind to correct minor errors, even to the point many go unnoticed, and once you realise the letters are intentionally scrambled internally, it is a minimal effort to correct.
