confusing announcement

Im still bloody confused by the 2 parts of the statement!

Why have they made this so confusing?

It could be read that:

we will hear in a few days from Gres if we have our money (we know if we do or dont already) - while weve been waiting weve been looking for money elsewhere in case but found nothing yet

or

weve got our funds just formalising - but weve been looking for other funds/JV for for ongoing field development for the future

or

we are putting Gres on notice by saying we are looking elsewhere so get the funds in or not & pull your finger out!


The up tick in the share price and volume is :

pumping for those in the know to get out
or
those in the know in anticipation of being in before funding secured

My collegue at HSBC corporate finance was concerned (though he doesnt know the company at all) by the second statement about looking for funds elsewhere, while he indicated the increased volume and 40% share price was a positive. He did say "Buy the rumor sell the fact"


??? Any thoughts ???
