Interesting. I've noted that several financial commentators are concluding the re opening of Glencore's upgraded Katanga mine this year will help meet the near term market supply demand and directly affect cobalt's price climb given it is expected to produce 11000 tonnes this year and 34000 tonnes in 2019. Whether or not that will/does affect the cobalt price, or anticipation of production does I've no idea but I thought I'd add it to the conversation in case people are interested though presumably many will already be aware of it.
