Yes and no to that point about all flights/airlines are the same.
I value my life and will not fly with budget airlines with old planes, poorly trained pilots, third world airlines or countries with pervasive bad governments/corruptions. That cut the field down remarkable, so only the major European airlines, Western countries and Singapore remain.
