The $1.50 offer is low balling and NHC play hard ball to match.
IMO the following is worth a grain of salt, maybe less.
$2 is very good value for NHC and fair value for NEC.
$2 is about where they need to aim and also pulls the $1.70 oppies into play.
The upside is the directors have skin in the game and there are two players that might open a path for a higher price, being xtrata and xinyang.
At current sp of 1.56 there really is only upside as analysts have this valued at about $1.80 anyway.
Throw in the opportunistic NHC offer and i have no idea why this is sitting at $1.56!
