Well it Twelve years since I first heard about Heron Resources(1997). The share price has returned to where it was when I was holding in 1998.
I recall spending about 3 hours talking to an exploration Geo in the Aggreko Tent(thanks Shorty) in about 1999 and thought there was a good chance something exciting was going to happen back then.
The reality has been somewhat different.I know holders on these forums have their reasons but from a distance I can tell you that if this project is worth anything why hasnt it got going over the last two Nickel Market spikes? The last spike was the daddy of them all.
I dont know much about Ian Buchorn but I do recall that when the old WMC placed some Nickel Laddles by the side of the road with an information station for tourists he wanted to dump two big lumps of his laterite clay flaky ore next to it????????????
Note to Ian: you are a hell of a long way from being the 3rd largest nickel Producer in the world as the "Corporation" was back then.
You know its kinda funny isnt it because when you do find a true whale of a deposit things happen at lightning speed dont they. Kambalda was brought into production so quickly they built part of the township on the ore body and had to move it. I dont hold much hope for a massively capital intensive mine going into the southern Goldfields when 3 of the last 4 Nickel laterite Operations have gone bust. Maybe the problems been Ian, perhaps more kindly its just as crazy as his ideas to build a trainline to transport the Herron workers to site.
