Agree with parts of your post Upmarket, but anyone who knew with any certainty in the first few days after the disaster that no major problems would occur with those reactors....well, they aren't being genuine.

I watched the early press conferences and the Japanese didn't appear to know from one minute to the next what was occuring with their reactors, so how could any of us?

The drop in SP was NEVER about the quality of PEN's leases and future prospects, but rather about the understandable initial uncertainty.

I can certainly understand how some folk may have sold out. Especially those who have a mortgage and kids to care for.
