Ever since the BBI speculation (28c share price spike), the market has been very non-responsive to announcements without explicit earnings. If the announcement stating the completion of the deal in a few days doesn't specifically mention earnings, it may be the case that the share price only gradually increases until it is mentioned (most likely Jan 31 Quarterly).

52 week high on Comsec is 12.5 cents, so clearly a different market from whenever it was 28c and there have been a few 3Bs issued as well.
