The Aussie populace has spoken and has loudly and clearly said, "We reject far right, Trump-lite old-school divisive politics."
The Libs have been decimated and have virtually no representation in our capital cities. If they wish to get back into government be remotely competitive in the near future, they need to move back to the centre right and reclaim the moderate ground that they ceded to the Teals.
The vast majority of you here on Hotcopper will howl at me and squeal in protest, but this place is a right wing echo chamber, and does not represent the views of ordinary Aussies. I'm dealing in facts, and the facts are that Australia has just emphatically rejected what the Liberal Party has morphed into.
