What year?
Mine pulls up at about $30 a bottle- not exactly Grange Hermitage, but a pleasant t drop nonetheless from a local winery.
I still have a lot of residual 'skimping' tendencies that will take years to overcome, being a post war baby.
When I was a kid I had a choice between Butter or Jam- not both. My Dad before me spoke of spreading of 'dripping' on bread. The fat from the roasting of meat. (remember when lamb was cheap?)
