Dawgonit dog. Just admit that you are out of touch with reality. Shorten made a dogs breakfast of campaigning. He was as useless as lap dog compared with a kelpie, a genuine working dog. He lost an election that Bill Hayden's border collie could have easily won.
Morrison will not damage the ABC. They have done that to themselves. Morrison is middle ground liberal, a genuine person that will help make the ABC a great broadcaster. He has already started that with the appointment of Ita Buttrose.
The odds are that I will not see another election. I hope I can because I foresee that he will win with the support of a satisfied electorate.
Difficult times ahead. Prepared to tighten your belt and be thankful that there is someone in charge that will have the interests of all Australians in mind. We could be heading for Keating's recession we have to have. It is certainly not the time to have the unions in charge.
