Sydney - Wednesday - February 7: (RWE Aust Business News) -
Electrometals Technologies (ASX:EMM) has been contracted to supply an
EMEW electrowinning facility to a customer in the United States, to be
used for the production of copper cathode from a copper refinery bleed
stream.
The total amount of the contract is $3.8 million for progressive
delivery in the second half of 2007, commencing in the third quarter.
A substantial deposit has been received.
This is the first sale for this application and it is hoped it
will provide a springboard for additional sales.
