I would see it more as WES want to position themselves in new age materials (wether for batteries, magnets etc)
KDR is an up and coming miner, but I bet they will start looking at how they can value add to the mined product....just like Lynas has done.
Think I’d have preferred them persuing Lynas, but I guess they have their reasons.
