IMO your clutching at straws there glenr, Shell not in business of missing the boat (no pun intended) by misinterpreting data.
FAR still gets some cash, the CSEM survey and has producing assets in US, enough for directors' lunches anyway, so all is not lost.
Maybe China might come across, they're on the prowl for anything and everything atm....energy and minerals.
