Not too many positives in this outcome. I've held FAR for a long time and topped up recently so feeling a bit of pain, hopefully only short term. Having said that, Shell, as a super major, have incredibly tough investment hurdles to achieve, in order to make any material impact on the company. CSEM is a fairly new technology and is effective when properly calibrated in known geology and in suitable environments, with successful drilling. We may just be too frontier and too many unknowns (for Shell) to justify a green light. The fundamentals are still there....good source rocks, on trend discoveries, analogue play types. It's not like they've gone out, drilled the best looking prospect and found it to be dry. Someone will test this fairway. Everyone has his/her own drivers but I plan to stay on board a bit longer and be in on the end game.
